‘An excellent, happy school, where we enjoy learning’
Our school’s vision is:
to be outstanding.
In terms of Mental Health and Wellbeing this will mean that children in our school will develop their independence in learning (one of our curriculum drivers). This helps the pupils develop as learners, with a focus on collaboration, questioning, resilience and resourcefulness. Pupils and staff actively support the wellbeing of other pupils and have positive attitudes in all aspects of schooling. We use a character called CLANG and focus on the Five Ways to Wellbeing as our guidance. There is a wide and rich set of experiences which help to develop a pupils’ character. We have Wellbeing Champions in our school who help to promote areas of Wellbeing. These champions wear a special badge designed by School Council children.
