Market Drayton Infant & Nursery School

‘An excellent, happy school, where we enjoy learning’

Celebrations - UW - Past and Present Events

In the first week back after the half term the children were very excited to share their experiences of Halloween and were starting to look forward to 'Bonfire Night.' The children listened carefully to the story abut Guy Fawkes and showed understanding of why, today, we have bonfires and fireworks. The children used the boxes in the deconstructed role play to create the Houses of Parliament and continued to use the projector to project an image of the Houses of Parliament, that the children could trace. The staff saw some fantastic fine motor skills being put to use. The children loved making loud noises as they learnt how to play musical instruments and explored making their own during continuous provision.
