The Carboniferous - When Minibeasts Ruled the World

Monday 26th - Friday 30th July AND Monday 16th - Friday 20th August

Go back in time, feeling the heat, seeing the ferns, hearing the water and smelling the rotting vegetation to a time when minibeast ruled the world. Look at some fossils from this period, make an instant fossil and go on a hunt for their modern cousins. £4 per accompanied 4 – 11 year old. Book to avoid disappointment.

 

Bubbles and Balloons

Monday 2nd - Friday 6th August AND Monday 23rd - Friday 27th August

Make balloon animals, experiment with static electricity and a hovercraft. Make small and big bubbles with things you can find around your home and try to make a double bubble! £4 per accompanied 4 – 11 year old. Book to avoid disappointment.

 

Native Americans
Monday 9th - Friday 13th August   

Make a dreamcatcher to hang above your bed. Make some twine and see if you can make a firebow warm, try a spear thrower and track and creep up on prey. £4 per accompanied 4 – 11 year old. Book to avoid disappointment.
