School Council children were given a task to talk about how Star of the Week is celebrated after children have been given their certificates in assembly on a Thursday morning. They wrote a letter to Mrs Simmons and she then wrote one back to them. Take a look at these letters.

Task 7
During the second half of the Spring term, School Council established themselves as the Safeguarding Board. Meetings this half term took place and focused on what this role would look like. A safeguarding display was created in school to share the work of the group which began with thinking about the values of the school and what this looked like for the children.
Task 8
In the Summer term, the children began working on understanding the behaviour policy and created a children's version to help them understand it. The children worked for a few works on this and their work can be seen in the document attached. A poster has been created and the Safeguarding Board will present this in an assembly at the start of the Autumn term.
