Wellbeing Award (National Children's Bureau) 2023 reaccreditation

Our Wellbeing Award Achievement March 2020 and Reassessment March 2023

At Market Drayton Infant and Nursery School, Wellbeing is an area of continual focus. In 2020 we achieved our initial award with Optimus Education. We ensure that effective practise and provision is in place that promotes wellbeing and mental health for children, staff and families. We have consulted with all stakeholders on a regular basis and all responses and suggestions are carefully considered to help us identify how we could further improve practise at school to benefit all. We add updates in newsletters to keep the school community aware of new information linked to Mental Health and Wellbeing. Reassessment of this award has been completed and we are now pleased to confirm that we have achieved the Wellbeing Award for a further three years. 

In the Reception/Office area of the school there is a suggestion  box for all children and adults to freely give their ideas about ways we could further improve the Wellbeing work. Please use this to give us your views/ideas. 

We were really proud to be asked to present the work we completed at Shropshire Health and Wellbeing Board and showcase all of our learning.
