Morning session: 8:50 to 11:50

Afternoon session:11:50 to 14:50

School Day - Main School

The morning session is from 8.40 a.m. to 11:50 or 12:00 (dependent on year group) and the afternoon session finishes at 15:00 p.m. The length of the school week is 32.5 hours.

The school doors will be open at 8:30 a.m.

Parents of children in the Reception Classes are invited to bring their children in to school in order to settle them for the start of the school day.  A bell rings at 8:40 a.m. giving a signal for parents to leave the setting and allow the start of the day to commence.  As the year progresses, children are encouraged to come in to school independently in preparation for KS1.

In Years 1 & 2 children are left at the door, where staff are on duty to ensure that the children are entering the school building safely once they leave your care.  Any messages for your child's teacher can be given at the door and these will be passed on.  Should you require a personal word with your child's teacher then please ask a member of staff on the door and they will try their best to accommodate you.
