Our Curriculum Year 1 and 2

Our curriculum

Our curriculum is designed so that we will revisit our learning again and again. This means that we will understand more and learn more. We can all ‘reach for the stars’ and be the best we can be. Our learning is sometimes presented in our own learning journey books but we also share work with our class, parents and school community in our floor books.

In each area we have threshold concepts (these are what we should understand) and return to them again and again.

Our teachers have helped us to understand what we will be learning by making some knowledge organisers to explain the work we will be covering in lessons. These are also sent home to our parents so that they too understand about our learning and can help us at home.
