Uniform Information

By adopting a school colour the children will feel a sense of belonging to the school community. Uniform can be purchased from:

Samples of each of the sizes are available at the school to try on.

Orders can be placed online or in person at the shop in Shrewsbury. Where online orders are placed, these can be collected in person or delivered to the school.

 

Basic uniform required

Black or Grey Trousers/Shorts/Pinafore or Skirt

Red Jumper or Cardigan (with or without school logo)

White Polo-shirt (with or without school logo)

Red and white checked dresses are appropriate for the summer time

 

To aid growing feet suitable and sensible shoes should be worn at all times. Fashion shoes and trainers are not appropriate.  Sandals worn by children in the summer time should be low-heeled with closed toes for health and safety reasons. 

 

P.E. Kit required

Black shorts

Plain black joggers for winter

Plain black hoodie (with or without school logo) - branded/sports tops are not acceptable  

Red t-shirts (with or without school logo) - football tops and other sports branded tops are not acceptable

Trainers (preferably with Velcro fastening)

 

 

Early Years Setting

Please make sure your child's name is in all items of clothing.  Children often wear the same or similar clothes and can easily become mixed up or "lost".  A simple mark or name on the label will be sufficient.

Also your child will be using things such as paint, glue, and wet sand, mud.  However careful we are accidents sometimes happen therefore please do not dress your child in new or best clothes for the Early Years Setting.

 

​School-Aged Children

Uniform

Children should wear red cardigans, jumpers or sweatshirts, white shirts or blouses and grey or black skirts or trousers.  Red dresses are appropriate for the summer time.  Samples are on show and order forms are available from outside the school office.

Dress for PE

  • See above
  • Earrings need to be removed for PE and long hair needs to be tied back.  The staff are unable to remove earrings and your child may be refused to access P.E. if earrings are not removed.
  • Swimming – Boys: trunks or shorts.  Girls:  one piece swimming costume.

 

Lost Property

From time to time items of lost property are found around school.  These are kept in the each year group for a period of up to one month.  After this time we will dispose of them.

To keep lost property to a minimum, please ensure your child's belongings are clearly labelled.
